Yeah. But then you go too fast into adulthood.

For me I feel like the same. I just lived and then I became an adult. And I have so many responsibilities I need to take.

Even like at university. Because I'm in the second year, like second year has gone so fast. I don't know, you're like in third year.

It's really fast. Just like one second after and then you just have two months left from graduation. It's so crazy.

And it's like you don't get enough time to think about what you're doing. I feel like I still have so much I want to do. But I feel like I have a lot of time. It's just like with university I feel like I don't have a lot of time.

Yeah, maybe. You also don't have a lot of time for yourself.

That too.

So it's like running out of time and then you need to slow down.

But I'm trying to think of it in a positive way. I had a talk with one of our lecturers Charlie because a few weeks ago I was really stressed and I was thinking: “Oh, I don't have enough time” and stuff like: “Maybe next year I'll go into third year if I don't do CCI.” I was thinking there's so much going on. And I feel like in my head, I always think of I have to decide what I want to do by the end of third year. But then really he was talking to us and he was saying that everyone puts themselves on like a time restriction, but you actually have like all of your life to figure out what you want to do.

Yeah, that's true.

It made me feel a lot better after.

Because you don't need to be harsh to yourself to get the answer straight away.

I know.

I don't know, it's hard to decide, right? It's sometimes hard to accept yourself like you cannot have the answer yet.

Yeah. But even now I think I'm trying to figure it out.

But I think I still have a lot more learning to do because I think it's still sometimes my mind is stuck in that: “I need to do everything really quickly and decide things”. I'm still learning how to take things slowly and become a better version of myself.

I feel like that's a skill you need to learn. It's not coming naturally. It's like when doing this fast-paced work, you need to learn how to be slow.

Yeah. I think sometimes I'm very harsh on myself and feel like I have a time limit. But talking about it made me realise that actually I'm not the only one who feels like that. And I have a lot more time than I think.
